Generations (XY, 2016) is a special expansion released to commemorate Pokémon's 20th anniversary, with a focus on classic Pokémon from the first generation. The set consists of a main set featuring EX and Mega EX cards — including the highly sought-after M Charizard EX — complemented by the Radiant Collection, a subset showcasing striking full-art cards on pastel-colored backgrounds, including the beloved Pikachu full-art. Because booster packs were exclusively available through special anniversary products and never sold as loose booster packs, Generations is a set that has quietly proven its value to serious collectors over the years.
