Hidden Fates is a special expansion within the Sun & Moon series, entirely dedicated to the allure of shiny Pokémon — the set combines a regular base set with the expansive Shiny Vault, a subset featuring an impressive 94 etched cards showcasing shiny Pokémon-GX and rare golden Secret Rares. The true showstoppers are the shiny versions of Charizard-GX and Mewtwo-GX, complemented by the first TAG TEAM trio Moltres & Zapdos & Articuno-GX. As a set that was only available through special collections and never sold individually as booster boxes, Hidden Fates has maintained a distinct character from the start, which clearly explains its enduring value for serious collectors.
