Shrouded Fable takes you to Kitakami, the mysterious land from the *Hidden Treasure of Area Zero* DLC, and revolves thematically around dark loyalty, betrayal, and shadowy powers — with Pecharunt ex at the center, bending the Loyal Three (Okidogi ex, Munkidori ex, and Fezandipiti ex) to its will. Beyond this quartet, it's Dusknoir and Kingdra ex that give the set a lasting place in serious collections, each valuable in their own right beyond the launch day hype. The set also introduced a new "parallel foil" pattern on the reverse holos, a subtle yet distinctive feature that gives this chapter within the Scarlet & Violet era its own character.
